Assistant Management Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a dedicated team in the life sciences industry. This role in Coleshill will focus on supporting financial operations and delivering insightful reporting.

Description

• Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support production of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities for P&L and Balance sheet
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Provide financial insights to assist decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance
• Experience of financial and management accounting, journal posting, P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience of data analysis and working with large volumes of data in Excel and Finance systems, building models, analysing trends, drawing conclusions and providing insightful and meaningful commentary
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Confident, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure both in a team as well as alone
• SAP knowledge and experience

Job Offer

• Competitive salary of approximately £28,000 to £35,000
