Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant | Leicestershire | £27,000 - £32,000 | Permanent | Hybrid

Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicestershire to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant to support their Financial Controller in all aspects of financial management and statutory reporting. This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a Financial Controller who is passionate about developing people and giving exposure across core finance functions.

The Role:
Daily maintenance of the general ledger and purchase ledger
Preparation of monthly reconciliation statements and management information
Assisting in the submission of statutory returns to regulatory bodies such as the PRA, FCA, and Bank of England
Supporting users on the Provision banking system and troubleshooting issues
Reconciliation of credit cards, bank accounts, and online payment systems
Covering Accounts Administration and PA duties when required

Who We're Looking For:
A part-qualified accountant (AAT/CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in a smaller organisation (under 50 employees) is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft-based systems, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
A detail-oriented, proactive, and team-driven individual
