Assistant Management Accountant - £35,000 to £40,000 per year + Study - Wandsworth, London - (5 days in the office)

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Global brand to assist with their recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team based in Wandsworth, London.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be get exposure to the full month-end preparation, journal entries and supporting the transactional function. Additionally, you will spearhead the implementation of robust month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing the month-end close including posting journals and preparation of management accounts (income statement & balance sheet).
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist the Management Accountant with the preparation of the monthly accounts, board reports and departmental reviews.
• Management of the Business Central (accounts payable and receivable and general ledger), with appropriate supervision and guidance to the finance team.
• Daily monitoring of bank accounts and cash-flow management including weekly payment runs.
• Assist with the preparation of business plans, forecasts and function budgets.
• Assisting the Management Accountant and Finance Manager with the preparation of the year-end financial statements and audit.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in a Hospitality/ Food & Beverage industry
• AAT or studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Systems and reporting enhancement capabilities / experience.
