We’re delighted to be partnering with a well-established global business headquartered in Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to support their finance team.
This is a key role within a dynamic and fast-paced finance function, offering exposure to international finance, full-cycle accounting, and strategic collaboration with global teams.

The Role:
Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of month-end processes, statutory reporting, reconciliations and general ledger activity across multiple entities. You’ll also play a hands-on role in supporting audits, improving internal processes, and partnering with stakeholders both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledger and produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist with internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and third parties
• Partner with operational teams to support accurate revenue recognition
• Manage payroll and banking transactions across selected geographies
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting efficiency
• Collaborate with international teams on wider finance initiatives

About You:

• Working knowledge of core accounting principles, audit, tax, and compliance
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing deadlines
• Previous experience with SAP or NetSuite is advantageous
• Strong Excel skills and ERP proficiency
