Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Producing customer reports, KPIs and monthly forecasts and actuals for the internal sales team
• Delivering timely and accurate management information on performance
• Preparing journals, trend analysis and variance investigation to support business decisions
• Supporting the budgeting cycle, development of the annual plan and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting with consolidated reporting across multiple branches and service lines

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Management Accountant / Assistant Accountant / Accountant / Senior Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Assistant Finance Business Partner
• Studying towards or keen to study AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced level)
• Curiosity, attention to detail and the confidence to dig into data and ask why
• Exposure to variance analysis, reporting, budgeting
• Commercial awareness
