Assistant Management Accountant

As they continue to scale, they're now looking to recruit their first in-house Assistant Management Accountant, a pivotal role that offers exceptional progression, hands-on experience, and the chance to help shape the finance function from day one.

This is far more than your typical Assistant Management Accountant role. You'll be working directly alongside a KPMG-trained Director, receiving invaluable mentorship from someone who understands what it takes to succeed at the highest level. You'll gain broad exposure across all areas of finance - from ledgers and reconciliations to management reporting and ERP implementation, all while progressing through your studies. For the right candidate, full study support (CIMA/ACCA) will be provided, ensuring your professional growth remains a priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger management
• Bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system and ensuring successful data migration
• Analysing financial data and helping to prepare management reports
• Supporting audit preparation and compliance with internal financial controls

I am looking to speak to ambitious and proactive finance professional's, ideally AAT qualified and eager to progress to ACCA/CIMA, with previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role (practice experience is advantageous but not essential). If you're hands-on, detail-driven, and confident using accounting systems such as Xero, this role will give you the platform to truly excel.
