Job Description - Assistant Management Accountant

£35,000 - £38,000

Pure are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in the heart of Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their accounting skills in a supportive and professional environment.

You’ll play a key part in supporting the month-end process and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities, with a focus on accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Calculate and post accruals and prepayments
Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations
Set up and process bank payments
Support the finance team with ad hoc reporting and analysis

About You

Studying towards ACCA / CIMA is an advantage
Previous experience in a finance/accounts role
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident IT user with good Excel skills
Organised and able to meet deadlines
