Assistant Management Accountant

RECfinancial are supporting a leading organisation operating across a multi‑site network is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting foundations who is looking to broaden their experience within a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

This role is commutable from all over Leicestershire, Coalville, Wigston, Hinckley, Syston, Enderby and more.

You will play a key role in preparing management accounts, supporting audit activity, and ensuring accurate financial processing across multiple business locations. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach.

The role:
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts across a multi‑site operation.
Assisting with the development and delivery of finance projects and process improvements.
Analysis and coding of sales invoices, purchase invoices, and credit notes.
Calculating and posting journals, including accruals and prepayments.
Supporting the preparation of annual audit work for external auditors.
Assisting with the production of Annual Statutory Accounts.
Providing ad hoc financial support to management as required. About you:
Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, or in a similar finance role 
AAT qualified, part‑qualified, or actively studying towards AAT.
Strong IT capability, including Microsoft Excel and general PC literacy.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Confident communicator with a collaborative, team‑focused approachWhat's on offer
