In this role, the successful applicant will get to report to a knowledgeable Financial Controller and receive mentorship from a supportive Management Accountant.
With a great breadth of exposure, this role will include assisting with management accounts production, statutory accounts production, variance analysis, budgets and forecasts. Definitely a role not to be missed out on as this exposure to rare to see at part-qualified level.

Role: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Nottingham City Centre
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home each week
Package: Up to £30,000 + Study Support

Role duties include the following:

Assisting with the preparation of management accounts, including those for foreign subsidiaries.
Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and business forecasts.
Conducting overhead and variance analysis.
Management of the balance sheet, including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments, and reconciliations.
Assistance with auditing procedures.
Ad-hoc duties for the Financial Controller when required.
For this role, it is important that you are:

Part-Qualified in AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA and actively pursuing becoming qualified in the future.
Possess previous experience with month end procedures within an industrial setting.
A comfortable user of excel and accountancy systems.
Enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
