My client, a media/marketing business based near SOUTHWARK STATION is seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join their growing business.
THE ROLE
Assist Management Accountant and Financial Controller in reporting of our P&L and balance sheet up to Group for month end actuals and monthly forecasts.
- Maintenance of cost subledgers and provide analysis on monthly expenditure vs forecast.
- Monthly posting of journals
- Liaising with Intercompany teams to agree and reconcile balances each month.
- Booking on client retainer fees on the system
- Raising purchase orders and chasing up on closing older PO’s
- Assisting in setting up House Suppliers in our systems
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of budget reports to be sent monthly/upon request to budget holders.
- Job reconciliations for income related projects
THE IDEAL PERSON
- Studying towards either CIMA/ACCA
- 1-2 years’ experience in a junior management accountant/assistant accountant role
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication
- Proactive, well rounded, team oriented
- Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities?
- Able to deal with various stakeholders?
- Able to prioritise tasks?
