Description

The Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid) duties will include:

• Support wider finance initiatives and continuous improvement across the team
• Assist with the preparation of project-specific management accounts and reports
• Collaborate with project managers to support on and monitor budgets, costs, and forecasts
• Ensure accurate processing of project-related transactions and journals
• Contribute to month-end close activities, including reconciliations
• Provide analysis of financial data to support decision-making
• Provide financial insight to help projects stay on time and on budget
• Review financial processes and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid) should have the following skills/qualities:

• Demonstrable experience in an assistant management account or similar position
• Studying towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Experience with finance systems and an understanding of month-end processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in project finance
