We're on the lookout for an energetic and ambitious Assistant Manager to help lead the launch of a brand-new lifestyle retail store in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a new store opening, supporting the Store Manager and building a winning team from the ground up.

What you'll be doing as Assistant Manager:

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of running a successful retail store
• Help recruit, train and motivate a brand-new team
• Lead by example to deliver excellent service and drive store performance
• Oversee key areas of retail operations including stock control, store standards and compliance
• Step up to run the store in the Store Manager's absence
• Ensure the team is engaged, focused and passionate about delivering results
• Bring energy, ideas and a hands-on approach to a busy retail environment

What we're looking for:

• Experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a customer-focused retail environment
• A proven track record of supporting sales, service and people management
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with the confidence to lead a team
• Passion for delivering great customer service and achieving targets
• Experience in new store openings is a bonus, but not essential
