Job Description - Assistant Manager

Job Description

An exciting award winning restaurant group with restaurants covering the UK, are currently seeking an Assistant Manager in Cambridge.

This role offers the suitable applicant with a great opportunity of progression via their brilliant training and development programmes, so if you are ambitious and love to learn then this could be an incredible opportunity. As well, the restaurant group is renowned for the way they value their people and reward very well through the company perks and extra shift pay.

Assistant Manager duties:-
  • Work closely with the General Manager
  • Ensure your customers and your staff are looked after extremely well within the busy, fast paced and high volume establishment
  • Along side the General Manager, training and develop your team
  • Opening and closing
  • Stock control
  • Planning rota's
  • Ensuring the restaurant and staff adhere to company policies and H&S / F&H regulations
Assistant Manager requirements:-
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager within a high volume food and beverage restaurant
  • Have a strong management and customer focused background
  • Love people whether customers or staff
  • Have a positive and happy attitude
  • Be dynamic and hands on
  • Have the ability to work under pressure whilst being a brilliant motivator and inspiring your team within a professional but fun environment
