Role Overview :
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic and client-focused team. Our commitment to understanding and meeting client needs is a cornerstone of our success. As we anticipate significant growth in response to the evolving demands of the modern music industry, we aim to expand our team accordingly.
Key Responsibilities :
Review and produce management accounts, personal and corporate tax returns
Set up accounting reporting packs for new clients
Approve supplier and employee payment runs
Prepare and review statutory accounts
Review and file VAT returns
Produce and advise on monthly cash flows
Manage staff
Address client queries and provide specific accounting advice
Candidate Requirements :
Proficiency with UK reporting requirements and the business tax environment
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Xero and QBO
Experience in preparing management and statutory accounts
Analytical skills for reviewing management accounts
Confident self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and client liaison skills, and a team player
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
