Assistant Manager - Temporary Position

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our team at Brookhouse Service Station in Cheadle Staffordshire ST10 1PH.
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be part of the team and work alongside the Store Manager to assist in the daily running of the store, manage the store in the absence of the manager, have a hands-on approach and cover a wide range of duties including excellent customer service and promoting sales.

Ideally previous experience in retail

Key Responsibilities:
Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are met
Manage the store in the absence of the manager
To authorise the dispensing of fuel and monitoring the forecourt
Manage stock, ordering, deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines
Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines in the managers absence
Manage product availability across the store to maximise sales
Ensuring company policies, procedures are adhered to and the store operates in a safe and legal manner
Ensuring that the store and forecourt are maintained to the highest standards
To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
Manage stock replenishment and merchandising throughout the store
To assist with training and coaching colleagues
To assist with food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products
