The Role As an Assistant Manager / Estimator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the accident repair centre, overseeing estimates, supporting workshop operations and helping ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the required standards. Your responsibilities will include: ·Preparing accurate vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates. ·Assessing vehicle damage and identifying the work required. ·Managing repair authorisations and liaising with insurers and customers. ·Supporting the day-to-day management of the accident repair centre. ·Monitoring repair progress, productivity and turnaround times. ·Working closely with Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and Paint Sprayers to maintain workflow. ·Ensuring repairs meet quality standards and agreed deadlines. ·Supporting the team, resolving operational issues and maintaining high customer service standards. ·Maintaining accurate records and ensuring estimating systems are kept up to date.
About You ·Previous experience as an Estimator, Vehicle Damage Assessor or Assistant Manager within an accident repair centre. ·Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment and repair estimating. ·Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex would be advantageous. ·Good understanding of bodyshop operations and repair processes. ·Strong organisational and communication skills. ·Ability to manage priorities and support a busy workshop environment. ·A proactive approach, with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
