Assistant MEICA Engineer

At OCU Group, we’re looking for passionate and driven engineers to join our multidisciplinary design team delivering innovative water and wastewater solutions in an agile, collaborative environment.

This is a hybrid role.  You will be based at home with weekly requirements to be in our Bridgend office and or South Wales sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborating across global teams, including the UK, to deliver high-quality engineering projects.


• Leading small-scale projects and contributing to efficient, on-budget delivery.


• Producing and reviewing design deliverables—calculations, drawings, and reports— aligned with industry standards and our design management system.


• Championing safe, sustainable, and high-quality technical solutions.


• Engaging in technical workshops, HAZOPs, ALMs, and client-facing discussions.


• Supporting Design & Build projects from concept through to construction.


• Assessing existing infrastructure and delivering MEICA designs for treatment and pumping systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or ICA Engineering.


• Working towards or already holding IEng/CEng status (IMechE, IET, or equivalent).


• Hands-on experience in UK water/wastewater design or design & build projects.


• Strong knowledge of WIMES, UK codes, and asset standards.
