Key Responsibilities of Assistant Merchandise Planner:

Work closely with the Merchandising team to pull planning reports and analyse data
Analyse store performance and customer requests, demonstrating findings and ensuring all factors are evaluated to get the most accurate report
Assist in the management of events or the release of new ranges
Support internal teams with product selection and make recommendations based off real data
Regularly review trading reports to spot potential risks and opportunities
Look to improve reporting process’ and efficiency

To be successful in this Assistant Merchandise Planner role, you will need to demonstrate:

At least 12 months experience in a similar administrative role
Excellent communication skills
Analytical with strong numerical abilities
Commercially minded with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive profit growth
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines
