Assistant Merchandiser

Join our dynamic Merchandising team as an Assistant Merchandiser, where you will support the Merchandiser in all aspects of reporting, forecasting, and ordering inventory across the business. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our merchandising activities, requiring a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented individual.

• Order stock for key categories, ensuring alignment with company budgets and obtaining approval from the Merchandise Manager before planning purchase orders.
• Generate and analyse weekly sales and stock reports (WSS).
• Assist the Merchandising Manager with end-of-season sale analysis and product forecasting.
• Manage the Critical Path to ensure timely execution of all merchandising activities.
• Coordinate with various internal teams including Warehouse, Product Development, Operations, and Marketing to ensure effective stock management and promotional activities.
• Maintain robust supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to critical path dates and timely stock arrivals.

• At least two years of experience in a Merchandising or Buying department.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other inventory systems.
• Strong buying and product forecasting experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
• Highly organized with an impeccable eye for detail and a strong interest in figures.
• Full Driving License is required as travel, including overseas, may be necessary.
