Description
Take ownership of the day-to-day trading and merchandising of designated Marketplace and Concessions accounts, working to help to drive sales, availability and stock performance. Analyse sales, stock, availability, returns and sell-through to identify risks, opportunities and recommended trading actions. Produce regular trading and marketplace performance reports, highlighting sales performance, returns, markdown activity, stock health, bestsellers, slow sellers and commercial opportunities. Prepare accurate data and clear analysis to support seasonal planning, future buys, forecasting, range reviews, trading meetings and marketplace reporting. Maintain accurate merchandising trackers, range plans, stock files, critical paths and partner documents. Monitor stock availability and inventory health across marketplace channels, escalating risks and recommending actions to maximise sales opportunities. Work closely with Import Merchandising, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams on critical path management, delivery updates, intake visibility and stock movement communications. Coordinate product onboarding, launches and ongoing marketplace maintenance, ensuring product data, pricing, listings, attributes and account information are accurate, compliant and kept up to date. Monitor marketplace product status and launch performance, proactively resolving issues that may impact product visibility, availability or sales. Investigate and resolve trading and operational issues, including product listing errors, pricing discrepancies, stock availability issues, EAN/barcode queries, imagery concerns and partner platform rejections. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external marketplace partners, ensuring timely communication of trading performance, launches, stock risks and operational priorities.Profile
A successful Assistant Merchandiser should have:
Experience in retail or a similar merchandising role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good communication and organisational abilities. Proficiency in using Excel and other data management tools. Knowledge of stock management processes.Job Offer
