Assistant Product Manager

We’re recruiting an Assistant Product Manager for a successful homeware business in Preston and we’re looking for someone who brings a great blend of commercial thinking, analytical ability and creativity.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Product Management and get hands-on with everything from new product launches and range development to data, trends and market insights.

About the Job

* Support new product development from initial idea through to launch

* Help develop and improve existing product ranges

* Analyse product, sales and market data to identify trends and opportunities

* Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep projects moving

* Manage product information, specifications and data

* Support the wider Product team with research and market intelligence

* Get involved in launches, product improvements and exciting new projects

* Bring your own ideas, creativity and commercial thinking to the team

About You

* You may already work in Product, Buying, Merchandising, Planning or Product Development

* You’re confident with data and Excel and enjoy getting into the detail

* But you’re not just a numbers person – you’ve also got a creative eye

* You’re organised, curious and commercially minded

* You can juggle several projects without losing sight of the detail

* You’re proactive and happy to take ownership

* You’re a great communicator who enjoys working with different teams and suppliers

* Experience within homeware, interiors, textiles or consumer products would be a real advantage
