We are seeking Assistant Project Managers to join our team and support the successful delivery of highways and local transport projects across their full lifecycle. Our Transportation Division is currently seeking Assistant Project Managers in our Glasgow and Edinburgh offices to support the delivery of a wide variety of multi-disciplinary highways projects within Scotland and the rest of the UK and Republic of Ireland. Using your excellent people, multi-disciplinary technical and delivery skills, you’ll drive a variety of civil and structural designs for new build, renewal, maintenance and assessment works.
You’ll be part of one of the largest transportation consultancies in the UK, and a leading supplier of engineering services to government, regulatory and local authorities, infrastructure owners and operators. Major clients include Transport Scotland, Various Local Authorities, Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Design & Build Contractors and other niche clients. We are looking to grow our project management / highways delivery and supervision capability in Scotland, from where you will also have the opportunity to work with our internationally based design teams.
This role is ideally suited to someone with early project management or project support experience in infrastructure, engineering or transport who is ready to take the next step in their career and broaden their experience across scope, schedule, cost and quality management.
You will be supported to develop your skills while working across multiple tasks, maintaining project information, tracking actions and helping delivery teams meet programme, budget and quality expectations.
