National Highways has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join the Integration & Enablement (I&E) team within Major Projects on the A66 programme. The I&E team works across the programme to improve alignment, coordination and future readiness in areas including communications and stakeholder engagement, lands, utilities, traffic management, operational collaboration and futureproofing.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support Project Managers and workstream leads in turning agreed strategies and priorities into clear, practical plans. You will coordinate information across work packages and specialist functions, maintain visibility of milestones, dependencies, risks and decisions, and support governance, performance reporting, handover and continuous improvement.
Please note this position can be based from either our Manchester or Leeds offices; however, travel to the A66, will be required.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
