Assistant Quality Manager
PERMANENT
Salary - £35k-£40k
Monday to Friday
8am to 4.30pm or 7am to 4pm
Duties;
* To support the existing Quality Manager and grow the department in line with company objectives.
* Manage all customer complaints, fully investigating including costings and deliver results and solutions to the business.
* Occasional visits to customer sites where necessary, no nights away required.
* Continual improvement process planning and implementation.
Experience;
* The perfect candidate will have prior knowledge of the timber industry or joinery experience in order to suggest resolutions to customer queries.
* Previous experience of LEAN Manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of managing ISO (phone number removed) as this responsibility will sit with the role.
A hands on approach is essential as the role will be 70/30 office based and factory based. The role is part of an expansion plan due to planned business growth and is excellent opportunity for candidates that are looking to grow following an existing Quality Assistant/Coordinator position within the industry.
