Quantity Surveyor - Bedfordshire

Location: Bedfordshire

Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working (x2 days office)

Salary Expectations: £30,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a utilities contractor to across Water, Highways, and Power industries that are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

The Quantity Surveyor will be on a full time permanent joining the commercial team to deliver cost value reconciliation, assessments, and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Regular site visits and liaising with the production team and project managers.
• Reviewing and negotiating NEC contracts (Option A & B).
• Analysing rates & prices and agreement of variations and / or compensation events as required.
• Forecasting accurate project rates to assist with tenders and live works.
• Reviewing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation)
• Allocating work to sub-contractors including assistance with procurement when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor working alongside water, power or highways industry.
• Experience with compensation and information management
• Proven working knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent negotiation, commercial and communication skills.
