An award-winning and forward-thinking independent Construction Consultancy is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic Birmingham team.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a supportive and growing team, working across a diverse range of sectors including Residential, Mixed-Use, Education, Commercial Office, Retail, and Leisure developments.

Based just a short walk from both Snow Hill and New Street stations, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Directors in both pre and post contract duties, assisting on multiple high-profile projects across various RIBA stages.

The role offers structured APC support and exposure to full project lifecycles, making it ideal for someone eager to work towards chartership.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is motivated to grow, develop technical expertise, and gain exposure to complex projects within a consultancy known for its strong progression pathways and excellent workplace culture.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

• A RICS Accredited degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Construction Consultancy (ideally 2+ years)
• A successful track record working on projects from inception to completion, pre & post contract
• Currently working towards APC
• A valid UK driving license is beneficial
