Assistant Quantity Surveyor

A respected, RICS-registered construction consultancy is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Hatfield, just minutes from the train station.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on high-profile projects for some of the UK's best-known retailers, with a diverse portfolio that guarantees variety and challenge.

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a friendly and professional team of 15, working closely with Directors and other surveyors on projects from inception through to completion. Current work includes:

• Large-scale distribution centres
• Fit-out of new retail shells
• Brownfield and conversion projects for builders' merchants
• Multi-site retail rollouts
• Shopping centre and high street retail units
• Aviation & Rail schemes

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

• RICS-accredited degree (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy/PQS firm
  • Internship, Work Experience, Placement year - ideally 1-2 years minimum
• Basic Pre and Post Contract experience
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Eagerness to progress towards chartership
