Assistant Quantity Surveyor – The Company

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – The Role

Based from a large new build project (with some office work too) this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to take on real responsibility while continuing to develop commercially.

You will support the commercial management of multiple projects, working closely with senior members of the team and gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle, from procurement through to final account.

Responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with cost control, forecasting, and reporting across live projects

* Preparing and submitting interim valuations

* Supporting subcontractor procurement and package management

* Assisting with variations, change control, and final accounts

* Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation

* Working closely with site teams to support project delivery and commercial performance

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – The Person

* Minimum 2 years experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

* Experience gained with a main contractor or subcontractor environment

* Comfortable working from site

* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset

* Keen to progress toward a Quantity Surveyor role
