A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a Brighton-based main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Brighton, Hove, and the wider Sussex region.

Your Next Job – What You’ll Be Doing
You will support the commercial team across a range of Brighton-based projects, gaining exposure to varied and challenging schemes.

Supporting cost management, valuations, and variation accounts
Assisting with subcontract procurement and commercial administration
Managing subcontractor payments and applications
Supporting CVRs, forecasting, and reporting
Working closely with site teams and project managers
Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners Your Next Employer – Where You’ll Be Doing It

Requirements & Rewards – What You Give & What You Get Back
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Around 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within a main contractor
Exposure to refurbishment, residential, or general construction projects
Strong numerical and communication skills
Good understanding of commercial processes and subcontract management
Relevant construction or QS qualification (preferred) In return you will receive:
