We are a specialist roofing contractor delivering high‑quality commercial and residential roofing solutions across Hertfordshire, London, and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing cost estimates, tenders, and quotations for roofing projects.

Support the QS team with measurement, take‑offs, and bill of quantities.

*

Help manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting.

*

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

*

Assist with contract administration, variations, and final accounts.

*

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify completed works.

*

Maintain accurate project documentation and commercial records.

Skills & Experience

*

Experience in construction or roofing is beneficial but not essential.

*

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

*

Good understanding of construction processes and materials.

*

Proficient in MS Office; experience with estimating software is a plus.

*

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

*

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
