Assistant Quantity Surveyor Electrical Projects

We’re looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of commercial and residential electrical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6–24 months’ QS experience who wants to develop a long-term career in the electrical and construction sector.

Main Duties

• Assist in preparing valuations and cost reports for projects
• Monitor budgets and project expenditure
• Support tender preparation and review subcontractor quotations
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project managers
• Contribute to final account preparations and settlements

Skills and Knowledge

• 6–24 months’ experience as an Assistant QS, Junior QS, or similar role
• Experience within electrical, construction, or related industries preferred
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, able to work well with different stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Eagerness to learn and progress in a quantity surveying career
