Assistant Quantity Surveyor – M&E

Our client, a leading Mechanical & Electrical services contractor, is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multi-million-pound construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Quantity Surveying within the M&E sector, working alongside experienced Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors.

The Role

You'll support the commercial team with:

* Cost management, valuations and variations

* Tender submissions and subcontractor engagement

* Contract administration and procurement

* Monthly valuations and financial reporting

* Subcontractor payments and project cost records

* Commercial documentation and budget control

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

* Strong numerical and analytical skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Good communication and teamwork abilities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office

* A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment

Desirable:

* A Quantity Surveying qualification (or currently studying towards one)

* Construction or M&E industry knowledge

* Previous construction or administration experience
