Job Description - Assistant Restaurant Manager

Assistant Restaurant Manager– £31,500 per annum – Immediate Start – Henley-on-Thames

Optime Group is delighted to be recruiting a Assistant Restaurant Manager on behalf of a prestigious private members’ club based in Henley-on-Thames.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and service-driven hospitality professional to join a highly regarded venue, supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional dining experiences and leading a dedicated front-of-house team.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary: £31,500 per annum
  • Start: Immediate
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Location: Henley-on-Thames
  • Schedule: Rotational shifts including evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations.
  • Lead the team by example, maintaining the highest levels of service and hospitality at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all restaurant activities.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in service quality, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Support training and development of the restaurant team to uphold excellence in delivery and presentation.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, or similar leadership role within a premium hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for five-star service.
  • Flexible and reliable, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proactive and motivated to enhance both team performance and guest experience.
