The hotel has 168 spacious new bedrooms, a stunning new Events Centre with 8 meeting rooms , Wellness & Spa, One AA Rosette Restaurant and Bar & Conservatory with stunning lake views . The entire hotel has just been the subject of a multi- million pound refurbishment project making it the finest Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in the UK, with
food excellence being a key driver and pinnacle part of this hotels success, and company ethos. The Role of the Assistant Restaurant Manager You will be responsible for the following duties : Together with the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the management and training of the hotels food & beverage team Outstanding team management skills are essential as you will be fully responsible for the development and performance management of the food & beverage team. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service standards, encourage sales and have an understanding of your targets The position is entirely hands on.
Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes :-
* Be confident in serving 80+ covers per day with additional banqueting as events occur. * Work at consistently high standards * Be well presented and have excellent communication skills * Be able to manage and teach the food & beverage team
To be considered for this position it is essential you have a proven and stable background as a Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a branded hotel environment or busy restaurant with rosettes
Previous experience in Micros point of sale will be considered an advantage There is an option of single live in accommodation in a lovely shared staff flat within walking distance of the hotel, in Marlow
You should have an outgoing personality and strong attention to detail
Positive references are essential
