Assistant Security Supervisor - CRA Patrols Surrey

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for an experienced assistant security supervisor to help oversee the CRA Patrols team at the site in Surrey.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5.15am till 1.15pm
Payrate: $21.50/hr

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Patrols - both interior and exterior
• Oversee and assist patrols team 
• Work closely with the Patrols Room supervisor to support and assist
• Any other ad-hoc duties may be assigned to you in your role
• Ensuring specific emergency and alarm response procedures are followed 
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Investigating and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
• Assist with maintaining up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
• Assist with submitting reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations
• Assist with the training and scheduling of Commissionaires
• Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
• Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
• Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
• Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders

Your Must-Haves:  

• 2-3 years security supervisory experience 
• A valid BC security license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment
• Occupational first aid level 1
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven time-management and organizational skills
• Have resided in Canada for the last 5 years due to security clearance requirements
