Assistant Senior Financial Accountant (band 6)

Salary: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum

Location: Birmingham - hybrid working - 2 days per week on site

Contract: Fixed term: 6-9 months

Overview of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant role:

Sellick Partnership is pleased to be supporting a Midlands based NHS organisation with their search for an Assistant Senior Financial Accountant on a fixed term basis.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant:

Preparation of the Finance Pack for the Trust
Assisting with the monthly monitoring of expenditure against the Capital Programme
Reporting of Capital expenditure
Preparation and maintenance of the trust's Capital Asset Register
Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Accounts and Charitable Accounts
Leading on the quarterly Agreement of Balances exercise
Day-to-day management of the Accounts Payable Officer and Financial Accounts AssistantRequired experience/qualifications of the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant:

CCAB part qualified accountant
NHS finance experience in a technical/financial accounting role
Supervisory or line management experience
Experience of NHS Statutory Accounting Benefits available alongside the Assistant Senior Financial Accountant:

NHS Pension scheme
