Assistant Showroom Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join a premium furniture retail business at its Lakeside showroom.

This is a sales-focused leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the showroom floor, building strong customer relationships, driving sales and helping a team achieve ambitious targets.

The Role

Working alongside the Showroom Manager, you will:

* Drive showroom and individual sales performance against targets.

* Deliver a premium, consultative customer experience from initial enquiry through to sale.

* Build strong relationships with customers and understand their needs to recommend appropriate products.

* Manage customer enquiries, quotations and orders through to completion.

* Coach and motivate the showroom team to maximise sales performance.

* Lead by example and support a positive, high-performing team culture.

* Assist with the day-to-day running and presentation of the showroom.

* Handle customer issues and complaints professionally.

* Support the Showroom Manager and take responsibility for key management duties in their absence.

* Ensure showroom procedures, product information and operational standards are maintained.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

* Strong experience in premium or luxury retail.

* Premium furniture retail experience is highly desirable.

* A proven sales and target-driven background.

* Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience.

* Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

* A natural ability to coach, motivate and lead by example.

* Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

* The resilience and initiative to work at pace and manage competing priorities.

* Good computer skills and professional presentation.
