About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and proactive Premises Assistant to join a skilled Premises Team within a well-established and supportive secondary school in Birmingham.

As a Premises Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will support the day-to-day operations of the school site, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
• Support the management of site security, including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met
• Coordinate with cleaning staff and external contractors
• Support the setup and supervision of lettings and school events
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Respond promptly to site-related issues or emergencies
