We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join an established main contractor delivering a significant planned refurbishment programme across Harlow.

The initial programme covers approximately 400 street properties, with a further 2,000 properties planned, providing excellent long-term continuity for the successful candidate.

The Role

Working closely with and reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the delivery of the external refurbishment programme, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The scope of works includes:

*

Fascia and soffit repairs/replacements.

*

Minor roof repairs.

*

Window replacements.

*

General external minor works.

*

Remedial works identified through property surveys.

You will be involved from the early stages of the programme, helping to take the information gathered through surveys and ensure works are properly planned and delivered on site.

Key Responsibilities

*

Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of the programme.

*

Supervising subcontractors and site operatives.

*

Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety.

*

Coordinating trades and managing site activities.

*

Reviewing survey information and ensuring identified works are delivered correctly.

*

Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.

*

Assisting with programme planning and ensuring works remain on schedule.

*

Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to the Project Manager..

About You

We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager with experience working on planned refurbishment, external works or social housing programmes.

Ideally, you will have:

*

Previous experience working in a Site Management or Assistant Site Management role.

*

Experience within refurbishment, planned maintenance or external works.

*

Experience working on occupied residential properties.

*

SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS preferred..

*

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous due to the nature of the programme.
