Assistant Site Manager - Wigan

Your new company

A well-established regional housebuilder is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Foreman to support the completion of a live new build housing development in the Wigan area. This is an immediate requirement for a minimum 4-week contract, with the potential for extension.

Your new role

You will play a key role in the final stages of the build programme, ensuring plots are completed to a high standard and ready for customer handover. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage snagging works, oversee quality inspections and ensure health & safety standards are maintained across site.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing finishing trades and plot completions
Driving quality standards across all completed homes
Coordinating and closing out snagging items
Assisting with NHBC inspections and customer handovers
Monitoring site health & safety compliance
Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operationsWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman or Finishing Manager on new build housing developments
Strong eye for detail and quality
Experience managing subcontractors during finishing stages
SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
CSCS card and First Aid qualification
Excellent communication and organisational skillsWhat you'll get in return
