Assistant Syndicate Accountant

An opportunity has arisen at this growing Lloyd's syndicate for an actively studying accountant with insurance experience to join their syndicate finance function. This broad and progressive role will include responsibilities for:

• Assisting with the accounting and preparation of month end reporting for the syndciate
• Preparation and review of journals, including both underwriting and invoice journals
• Syndicate and wider bank reconciliations
• Preparation of accruals and prepayments for all entities within the group
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with both the month end close and year end stat accounts
• Assist with the Lloyd's regulatory reporting

You will be currently working within the insurance market in a finance role and actively working towards your accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT). You will be keen to develop your accounting skills within a Lloyd's environment.
