Assistant Technical Manager

The company
Nigel Wright are pleased to be working with an established food manufacturing business as they look to recruit an Assistant Technical Manager.

The role
This is an exciting role, that offers a great opportunity for someone who is currently working as a Quality Manager and is looking for that first step into technical. There will be a focus on leading the QA team, QMS and hosting customer audits and visits. Ideally, the successful candidate will have some line management experience, and will be wanting to develop this further. We are looking for someone who takes pride in harnessing strong relationships across functions, with the aim of achieving the highest of standards.
The candidate
We are looking for a candidate who has already gained experience working in food quality, alongside:

• HACCP level 3
• TACCP
• Food Science degree
• People management experience
• Experience working with retailers
