Assistant to the Teacher

Our Assistants to the Teachers play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of an Assistant to the Teacher doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Assistant to the Teacher will have:

Level 3 or equivalent
Primary School experience in the UK
Good communication skills
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
