Assistant Underwriter- Corporate Property

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience in property insurance, whether from an underwriting or broking background, who’s eager to progress into handling larger, more complex corporate risks.

It’s an exciting time to be joining this business, with strong growth across the UK Commercial Lines division and big ambitions for the future. You’ll be based in the Birmingham office, working alongside some of the most experienced and well-respected Underwriters in the Midlands. The role offers excellent exposure to major UK and international commercial risks, often with multinational requirements, giving you the platform to really stretch your skills and grow your career.

You’ll be hands-on in the underwriting process from start to finish supporting submissions, assisting with pricing models, preparing financial analysis, and building strong relationships with brokers. You’ll also play a key role in enhancing our underwriting services and responding to broker queries, all while developing a deep understanding of how corporate risks are structured and managed.
