Job Description - Associate

An international law firm with a strong presence in the City of London is seeking an ambitious Associate to join their high-performing property team. Known for delivering complex and high-value work across all areas of commercial property law, this firm has built a reputation as a market leader in real estate. The successful Associate will be involved in major investment, development, regeneration and financing deals, supporting some of the biggest names in the sector.

This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Associate looking to take the next step in a well-established and forward-thinking legal practice. The role will suit a commercially aware Associate with a strong interest in real estate transactions who is keen to develop in a collaborative and globally connected environment.

The Associate's role

As an Associate, you will play a key role in significant client matters, acting on complex property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work, development schemes and real estate joint ventures. You'll work closely with high-profile clients including asset managers, institutional investors, developers and financial institutions.

The Associate will manage day-to-day responsibilities on transactions, draft and negotiate documentation, and liaise with clients and external parties to ensure delivery of commercial, timely legal advice. You will be supported by experienced partners and encouraged to take ownership of your work from an early stage.

The Associate
  • UK-qualified solicitor with 1-3 years' post-qualification experience in a property-focused legal role

  • Strong experience in commercial property transactions, ideally gained in a City or international firm

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills

  • Commercially minded with an ability to provide practical solutions to complex matters

  • Proactive team player with a client-focused approach and strong attention to detail

  • Interest in supporting junior colleagues and contributing to wider team development

In Return?
  • £95,000 - £115,000

  • Access to complex, high-profile real estate work with a global client base

  • Career development within a supportive, collaborative team

  • Long-term progression opportunities in a firm committed to innovation and growth
