Job Overview An Associate Clerk of Works is required to lead an established inspection service within a construction consultancy. Based in Nottinghamshire, the role involves managing a team delivering projects across health, care, industrial, manufacturing, residential, conservation and commercial sectors. This position suits an experienced construction professional with management experience, detailed technical knowledge and the ability to maintain quality, performance and profitable service delivery. Travel to sites throughout the UK will be required.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead delivery of the Clerk of Works service
Allocate projects and monitor inspection targets
Manage, support and develop team members
Review output quality, efficiency and programme performance
Complete site inspections and deliver internal training
You will work closely with senior management to maintain service standards, support client relationships and identify new project opportunities.
Skills & Experience Required
At least three years' construction management experience
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
Proven team management and development experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
You will also need strong organisation, commercial awareness, analytical judgement and the ability to manage multiple projects, resources and stakeholder requirements.
