About the consultancy and vacancy?

Known as the South West’s leading, independently owned Building Services specific consultancy, this company are going through a phase of growth and are now hoping for their next hire to help establish their Southampton office. With work already coming in from around Southampton, this next hire would be growing a team in the area, assisting on companywide projects and developing and bringing in more business for the office.

If you’re looking for a role where you can have full autonomy for growing a new office, this is the position for you!

The ideal candidate will come from either an Electrical or Mechanical background, but we may also consider an Associate Director level individual from a more Sustainability background as well. You must have proven building services design experience, the ability to run your own projects and the desire to operate not only as an independent engineer, but with a much wider whole company focus.

Having already established themselves around the South West, this office is the next step for this 20 year old consultancy, already touching the 70 engineers strong mark. They’re market leaders in the area and have projects coming from the rail, defence, healthcare and university sectors, with no limits on where they go next.

They are huge BIM champions and push all of their engineers to utilise BIM packages, alongside some of the best Digital Engineers that help guide these processes. They have a big sustainability ethos with numerous Sustainability Engineers in the business, a division that is currently going through a big phase of growth.
