Your new role As an Associate Director, you will provide technical and commercial leadership across a range of civil engineering projects while managing and mentoring a multidisciplinary team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, oversee project delivery, drive business development activities, and contribute to the strategic direction of the Belfast office.Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Managing project teams to ensure quality, programme, and budget targets are achieved. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Identifying and securing new business opportunities. Supporting the growth and development of junior and senior engineers. Providing technical oversight and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Contributing to business planning, resource management, and strategic initiatives. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you should have:
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Chartered status (CEng MICE or equivalent). Significant experience within an engineering consultancy environment. Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong client-facing and business development capabilities. Excellent knowledge of infrastructure and civil engineering design projects. Experience managing project finances, programmes, and resources. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. What you'll get in return
