Your leadership experience within the area of Cost Management within large infrastructure projects will make a real impact.

This role will be leading their award winning Infrastructure team.

Their Infrastructure team work in some of the biggest, most complex, and ambitious infrastructure projects. Working on such things as transforming the energy sector, formed the backbone of Britain’s transport network on High Speed 2, amongst a wide variety of others.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Associate Director Cost Management to join their Cost Management team. The role will be reporting to the Head of Cost Management. You will play an integral part in supporting with the development and delivering the business plan for this rapidly expanding team .

Responsibilities will include:

This role will involve delivery, team management and business growth and working with external key strategic partners, new clients and internal partners across the entire business.
You will be specifically responsible for the delivery of multiple commissions and support the Head of Cost Management and the Practice Director in recruiting high calibre individuals that will deliver excellence to their clients and represent their brand in a positive way.
You will stimulate profitable growth for the team, act as a mentor to others and drive the performance of the business forward.
Further enhance their Cost Management capability including leading on the development and use of Power-BI, PRISM, Oracle and other Cost Management related software.
Lead their community of practice and drive technical excellence, service innovation and supporting with the development of our benchmarking capabilities.
Deliver the strategy for the Cost Management Service including identifying continuous development.
Deliver an exceptional cost management service for multiple stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for strategic recruitment and associated investments by the business, linked to the Complex Infrastructure business strategy.

To be suitable for the role you will have:

Technical expertise in Cost Management services across complex infrastructure.
Strong network within the sectors.
Proven technical skills to monitor, analyse, and control cost performance against set targets.
Major project/programmes work experience.
Comprehensive understanding of the tasks facing the sector and the opportunities available
