MAIN PURPOSE:

• Support the Business in terms of demand and planning management

• Contribute to build the Centre of Excellence for Integrated Business Planning

• Deliver an integrated business planning process to ensure we have the best supply scenarios to meet demand to support better decision making.

• Implement tools and processes to increase Norgine’s capacity and asset planning / optimisation capabilities. 

• Develop planning capabilities across the supply chain to deliver agile and flexible solutions to support Norgines growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate to the design and delivery of Supply Chain Strategy for Norgine.
  • Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the sales and operations planning processes for Business Unit across the extended Supply Chain.
  • Manage S&OP team, ensure proper capabilities in place and personal development
  • Lead the Executive S&OP meetings for brands/ Ensure the good execution on monthly S&OP process
  • Lead the operational implementation of enhanced planning methodologies with the aim of reducing lead-time, optimising inventory & costs while increasing service & meet customer needs.
  • Integrate and synchronise the S&OP cycle to create one agreed set of numbers that underpins the Norgine business planning process (0-5Yrs). Co ordinating across commercial, finance and manufacturing.
  • Develop an analytics / scenario modelling capability providing timely and accurate insight to support decision making.
  • Optimise use of available capacity across the network (internal & external) to balance profitability and service. Leading network capacity reviews ensuring Norgine secures capacity to support future business ambition.
  • Accountable for optimising inventory levels across the supply chain. Agreeing inventory strategy and managing working capital in line with business expectations.
  • Responsible for integration of new business into Norgine quickly and efficiently
  • Lead and/or provide support as appropriate to strategic projects across the business e.g. Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Segmentation, Flexible Planning solutions etc. Managing timeline and budget for delivery.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  1. Knowledge and practical use of up to date supply chain management practices /Planning activities – minimum 10 years experience
  2. Excellent leadership and change management capabilities: Ability to lead, own and champion the forecasting process, supply chain planning process across the organisation to ensure awareness and understanding.
  3. Strong intellectual curiosity/Strategic and tactical thinking
  4. Excellent communication and persuasion skills based on evidence and data.
  5. Able to demonstrate clear and measurable improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs)
  6. Ideally previous experience of Planning System implementation
